I must be trying to get Emmett excited about something. 

And my own Christmas surprise. Tyson had Simon Dewey's son paint a picture of our family with Christ. Wowzers! I was too tired to cry but it was a very special gift that will be treated for years! And it was a complete surprise.  

Dad had a surprise of his own. A new kindle from all the kids. A far cry from the usual golf balls and socks for Christmas!

Miles didn't care too much to open presents. He was happy to play with whatever everyone else was opening.

Note to self: the cheapest presents are almost always the favourite of little kids. This gun was the most fought-after, I mean sought-after toy of the season.
