Once again, Emmett put me in my place. A few days ago, I was renewing my registration and license and my children were running around the building like crazy people. When we got into the car, feeling embarrassed and frustrated, I said, "Emmett, what should I do with you two?" He replied, "Mom, some people don't have any kids." I understood exactly what he meant as I use similar logic with him such as, "Well Emmett, some kids don't have any food" or, "Some kids don't have a little brother". You're right Emmett, some people don't have any kids and I should be grateful for every crazy moment I get to spend with you.
